Cayden Primeau looks to be a bust. If a desperate team is willing to overpay. I'd say hell yeah. The Habs will trade for or sign as a free agent a star goalie when the time is right. In 2-3 years the salary cap will be in great shape in MTL. Just as the kids are getting good. The Canadiens are going to be a team of the future and players will want to go there. As a Habs fan I see what is building there. What they do not have they will trade for (they have a lot of talent in the system to trade or keep) or sign. Go Habs Go!
Yes, the Habs should trade Primeau. I'd even settle for the Habs just giivng him away for a bag of apples.

Re: Primeau: Habs should trade him if they can get a decent prospect or pick. He just doesn't seem to be progressing as expected…BUT…Habs don't have a deep goalie pool to draw from so Hughes needs to take that into consideration.

Wahlstrom isn’t back 💯 from the knee surgery yet. He clearly wasn’t up to speed in the preseason. Not to mention lane played him with ahlers during the preseason games didn’t help matters.
