I have to agree with your Gibson statement. I love him He is incredibly talented and deserves a cup, and the ducks know he’s one of the best goaltenders in the league. And the players know that they can always count on him so the defensive line keeps their guard down.
In this day and age, you need a goaltender who can handle the puck back there, this is where dostal really shines over gibby.
I was ecstatic to see Carlsson do so well just to shut the Fantilli people up.

I left at the end of the 2nd, this team needs to get everyone playing and I think they can make the playoffs at the 8. They are gonna tire themselves out in the1st so many times. Gibson is so bad and after he didnt go to the faceoff fest you get the feeling he doesnt want to be there.
Alot of their calls are such bullcrap because they just call it because their young trying to teach them something.
Stars fan… it was a great game. Im envious of a lot of your young players… Troy Terry is so much better than i thought and i already thought he was pretty good.
Suter has been doing that for a while now. Great goal though by Carlsson he's going to be a stud. That line is going to be really good!
I think the Ducks would have won if Dostal was in net. Gibson still looks nonchalant at times. His head & heart aren’t in it. I think he wanted to be traded & is bitter nothing came to fruition. Loved seeing Leo score his first goal. Lots of chemistry on that first line.
So happy to see Leo get that goal!

Great Vid, I do agree about Gibby, I just wished he would give this team a real chance. I think the Ducks keeping the opposing shots lower than they have been for some seasons now is a huge improvement to show there is that reason to be hopeful? Idk, maybe his time with the Ducks are the crossroads here.
Leo was great, I thought he played really well, And honestly i like this pick, he seems to fit the Ducks needs so much more than the picks available to us.
The penalties and Z needs to stop, if we cant kill the damn things, we shouldnt be taking them. I hope we have a better run at the Yotes tomorrow.
Even though the Ducks are one win and two losses this season for the most part I like what I am starting to see. I'm still expecting a top ten pick this year but games will probably be played better and will be closer than last year. It was good seeing Carlsson play so well right off the bat. He is going to be one of "those" type of players that other teams wish they had. Just a matter of time. Terry is looking like Terry and it was good to see Zegras get his first point. He has been shooting well and just matter of another game or two before the goals find the back of the net. I doubt there is a playoff run this year but it will still be fun to watch this team with all the young talent.
cronin seems like a really good coach for this group, i thought he would hold back talent in favor of team defense, like islanders.. but he seems more like a defensively demanding players coach.. encouraging younger players to go out and get it.
I don’t think he looked particularly good at first (defensively especially, Roope got away with a lot), but def got better as the game went on.
