i’m just waitin for that first season without 15mil in dead space

  2. jonn_jonzz

What even is offsides? Is it an abstract piece of art, performance art, or an interpretative dance?

  3. CloverleafSaint28

Well, I guess that was a typical Minnesotan ending.

  4. Birdhairs

When you give up that many shots you kinda just should be thankful for the 1 point

  5. No-Blackberry-2481

If it take 3+ minutes to declare offsides you don’t have enough evidence to overturn it. Then to follow up on a bs call. Refs fucked us

  6. Durge88

Another millimeter offside challenge, another lost game. The NHL is such a fucking joke.

Aside from that, outstanding performance by Gus, but man the team has gotta wake the fuck up earlier

  7. BigPackHater

I repeat…I can’t stress how embarrassing it is that we not only lost to CBJ.. but that they put up 50 SOG on us AT HOME

  8. Bobbybigwheel77

    This team is shit defensively

  9. HerbalAndy

Whatever.. let’s be happy with our point.

Gus made 2:1 saves over Elvis.. working twice as hard.

Absolute game altering penalty call on that Zucc goal.

Clutch Jojo goal which I have been waiting for.

Everything will be okay once Spurg is back in a couple games.. then we can get a real assessment of this team.

Whatever.. not to upset because at least they made it fun up until it wasn’t.

Despite the overturned goal, I felt this was the deserved result. It is hard to give up 50 shots and win, definitely need to tighten that up. That being said, it sucks to waste such a good performance by the Gus Bus

  11. Substantial_Sea

Regulation was brutal because of the refs, OT was 100% on us

  12. freakyuseless

Kap and Zuc looked like they were just coasting on that last shift

  13. JustaRoosterJunkie

Man, the backend looks really bad with Spurg out. Faber is solid, and seeing some flashes of offense from Brodin, but Mids, Addy and Merrill look bad right now.

To many shots allowed, not keeping the play to the outside and cement in their skates.

  14. MNGopherfan

we need spurgeon back so bad rightnow it is unreal

  15. Lukedoesthings

Felt like reffing really tilted the game momentum. Massive rally from the boys made it a fun game but you can’t rely on the bus to carry everyone like that

  16. letoiledunordstars

losing in ot at home is such a buzzkill

at least we got a loser point, despite the defense’s best efforts

  17. Eastern_Tangerine_33

How tf do we let 54 SOG happen? We need Spurge back so bad.

  18. HelicopterCrashScene

Microscopic offsides, free penalty given to a flopper who should be playing soccer, I’m drunk and hate Columbus now

  19. nadojo1

Like I’m no expert, but maybe shoot the puck when your 2 feet from goal and the defenders are behind you…

  20. MinnesotaMilkman

Alright. I know we didn’t deserve the dub but why in the ever living fuck did Addison get across the blue line then dump the puck in, IN FUCKING OVERTIME

  21. KaprizFox

Unacceptable. Absolutely unacceptable how they played tonight. This game was handed to them on a silver platter. Also one of the worst games I’ve seen 97 play. Awful. Dean better give it to them.

  22. Nightcrawlers17

Just a reminder to anyone upset that the Blue Jackets are arguably more forgettable than us.

  23. mAnBeArPig417

If the Wild can just outshoot the other team for once I will consider that a win.

  24. wistoon33

Columbus is a bad team. Columbus was missing their best player. We lost to Columbus. Our defense is dire.

  25. Panarin10

I dunno how a team that played last night put up 50+ shots on us. I guess it’s because they’re so much younger.

1 goal after 5 games isn’t enough from the 3rd line.

Game winner is why Dean usually has Ek with Kaprizov in OT.

  26. jordynbebus8

we pay Kaprizov 12.5 million to not shoot the puck apparently

  27. Pominville2929

What is our record in the green RR 2.0 / alt
I feel like it is sub 500

  28. No_Head1056

Nice 1.5 mi it’s shift by zucc in overtime where he passes up a clean shot then is too tired to backcheck and costs the team the game. Bad look for a vet

  29. The_Red_FoXXX

Refs literally fucked that entire game absolutely bullshit officiating

  30. coalsack

Kap and Zuc missed some amazing opportunities in OT. They decided to play ticky tacky instead.

Over 50 shots in goal and over 90 shot attempts.

    The team is looking anemic.

  31. PepperWilling4393

not trying to say this wasnt a bad loss (it was) but cbj is different from last year:

their blue line – got werenski back, added severson and provorov, and brought jiricek up.. thats a whole new blueline and one that might just be straight up better than what the wild is rolling with right now

and add fantilli to a forward group that has some promising young players in sillinger, and johnson (and gaudreau)

honestly wouldnt surprise me if cbj contends for an 8 seed this year and wouldnt surprise me if the wild are scrapping for the last spot or just missing either

  32. Ok-Wrap2130

Was at the game and the crowd was rolling. Energy kinda dies when there’s a four minute review to overturn our goal…

  33. Way back when we signed Suter and Parise we all knew it was going to bite us in the ass someday. Well here it is

  34. Positive side: we got a point despite the refs succeeding in a huge momentum swing calling off a legal goal and then assessing a BS penalty that resulted in a ppg. But we didn’t quit and that’s the right mentality.

Negative side: Gus was +0.01 GSAx, Merzlikins was -1.71 GSAx. We simply abandoned Gus in front of a firing squad and he nearly bailed us out.

As per the offside, NHL 23-24 rulebook states, in the glossary, that:

« The last player to physically touch the puck with his stick or body shall be considered in possession of the puck. (NOTE 1) A player can have possession of the puck without control, but he cannot have control of the puck without possession. »

And in the off-side rule it is clearly stated that a player in control of the puck can be in the offensive zone before the puck and still be onside. The only argument for the overturn is that MoJo was in possession but not in control of the puck, but since MoJo was moving the puck with the stick and no player on the Blue Jackets touched it this argument is very weak and supports my belief that we were robbed of a legal goal.

On a side note: is it bias or are we challenged and have overturned goals more often than league average?
