   I have used the following formula to attempt to weight the value of a good pick (where a player’s re-draft position was higher than their actual drafted position):

   Players ranked outside top 40 of re-draft have not been taken into account, as in my opinion jumping from pick 163 to pick 61 isn’t anywhere near as impressive as jumping from pick 37 to pick 7 in a re-draft.

   Jacob Truscott was the highest Canucks player ranked in the re-draft at #72.

   Also interesting to note that Nils Aman is ranked at #41 in re-draft and the pick that the Canucks gave up in the Miller trade (S Mukhamadullin) is ranked #16 in the re-draft.

   Hockey gods really threw us a bone here by not only making this a pretty weak draft but also tanking our pick yet still keeping us starved for in person playoffs.
