En tant que passionnée par la santé mentale, j’adore le fait que Laine fasse cela. Qu’en pensez-vous ?

Good for him. I hope it spawns copycats!

Would have been a $52K donation based on last season’s performance

  2. Independent_Web_6029

Hoping he can reach 75 points both for charity and my fantasy team!! Really great thing for him to do.

Yeah there’s not a lot out there for men. Guys often deal with anger issues that people just brush off because anger = bad person. Really it’s someone who’s actually in pain and is having trouble regulating their emotions.

  4. IdyllicOleander

Donating $1,000 to me will help my mental health.

  5. lostharbor

Any donation to a worthy organization is a-ok in my book. Glad he’s doing this.

  6. Fingar-Bangar

This is great but it’ll have to wait a few games unfortunately. CBJ put him on IR today after the sore loser scumbag hit by Andersson

  7. Calling__Elvis

    That’s so cool Patrick!

You know what is even better? Not telling anyone and just doing it because you are a good person.

  8. Porkchopp33

1,000 wow that is not an empty gesture hope a company comes up and matches him

  9. imyourzer0

Looks like Patrick Laine probably also captioned this photo 😵‍💫

  10. Complex-Tangerine628

A shame he’s only gonna be donating $2,000

  11. Naith58

Not to be a douche, but when one donates « in support of mental health » what does that money end up being spent on?

  12. DoubleDumpsterFire

    Laine has been the man.

  13. Vj1224love

Even if he scores 40 goals, that’s 0.4 percent of his income for that year. Big deal.

  14. Kushkraze

Smart man . Solid tax receipt

  15. amach9

Hope he gets 1,000pts this season!

Maybe CBJ will step up and match Laine’s contribution

  16. Deraj2004

Great stuff, hopefully other players follow suit.

  17. Aezetyr

This is awesome. More support for men’s mental health is seriously needed.

  18. Mikex204

Awesome! Good move by a guy I sure miss on my team.

  19. sharksfan707

Will donated? Is that how they speak in Finland?

  20. enorytyyc

They should start with Andersson’s $96k for his suspension and putting Laine on the IR.

  21. Lordcraft2000

I’m very sorry to learn of Mr. Laine’s passing. He was very generous to stipulate that in his will, he donated 1000$ for every point he would have scored in the season… that’s how it should be understood, yes?

  22. john-tockcoasten

Rasmus Anderson apparently hates programs that support mental health.

  23. MrThird312

    Obligatory fuck Rasmus Andersen

  24. Victor-Grimm

Good on him but someone needs an editor for the horrible grammar mistake. I mean come on man.

  25. TheRitalinCommando

I don’t get the point of basing it on his own scoring. Why can’t he just donate the money? Seems like making it more about him than the cause.

  26. mehrt_thermpsen

Miss this dude in Winnipeg. Good guy Laine strikes again

  27. LogieThePerogie

He will be able to hopefully get 70 points

  28. pforsbergfan9

He won’t be able to donate as much because Rasmus is a piece of shit

  29. newf_13

What they don’t tell you is that’s he’s donating to his own non profit company he donates too to avoid taxes like every athlete and ultra rich does

  30. DrDetritus79

And then he got hit in the head at the end of the game. Go figure.
