  1. All of the great hockey players have taken time to develop at the NHL playing level . McKinnon and the ratman in even the Beloved number eight the next Wayne Gretzky Cal McCarr. Connor Bedard will take time to develop like any other great NHL hockey player. So get the F off his ass🏒👀🏒👀

  2. He's young and he'll need better teammates to be able to shine. The league is fast for him, but he has a great vision, good puck handling and a great shot. It will unblock at some point, might not be this year might not be next. He needs to focus and not worry what people say or think. He has talent and has already shown it. But yeah it's the men league now.

  3. This was the same Chicago team that beat Toronto? Totally pathetic performance having two day off prior to playing Colorado. I was expecting some Hawk "payback" for this hit on Bedard..nothing.

  4. mr bedard welcome to the nhl with the big boys going to get harder i would suggest cut your time down so you will be fresher in the thrid period

  5. They are trying to Vincent Lecavalier this kid. It’s ridiculous they’re are expecting 40 goals. His team sucks and it’s his first year. He’s looks like he’s 120 lbs soaking wet out there.

  6. Same was said about Jack Hughes…now look at him. People need to chill man, he will come round… not a doubt.

  7. The idiots that hype him up to be the greatest thing should literally allow him to be a hockey player and have fun instead of placing him in the upper echelon of hockey. Quit putting undo pressure on him and allow him to love playing the game.

  8. The video mentioned the primary problem as I see it – the INCREDIBLE amount of hype about this kid, who has not yet done a thing at the NHL level. I get that he's tremendously talented, and will likely make his mark on the league. But holy j*sus!! The kid (yes, kid! He's what, 19?) get his feet wet for a bit first before we say he's washed up.

  9. LMAO!
This is awesome and about time.
As life long hater of all teams Chicago and a diehard wild fan as well as a diehard avs fan till Patrick Roy's retirement I love this lmao!
Can't wait till this kid comes to the X in St Paul and gets smashed.
So tired of hearing about this kid.

  10. He's a Jack Hughes, he'll probably suck all season but he'll find his way in a year or two. The Avs are also just dominant, not even McDavid has found a way to outperform Makar

  11. the rookie has one bad game and people start trashing him 😭 thought hockey fans were the best fans.. what’s up with that

  12. "This was tough to watch for Connor Bedard fans"
I…didn't know he had fans. All I've seen is exclusively wall to wall hatred and people wanting him to suffer a career-ending injury. Both the r/hockey and r/nhl subreddits are full of posts about people wanting him to get crosschecked in the face or have his knees taken out, I've seen at least a dozen YouTube videos detailing how much they wanna see him gone. I thought the entire league just despised him.

  13. Why didn’t Chicago sign an enforcer if they knew they were getting Bedard 🤦🏾‍♂️

  14. Way,to much hype, but the NHL,will do anything to stay in the limelight!Chicago,Guy here,I hope he doesn’t get hurt!

  15. The pressure is too much when he’s on a bad team! They need more size to open the ice up for him. They need better defense, goaltending and at least one stellar winger to feed him! He’s goin to have a rough time this year.

  16. And against my Vegas Knights Connor Bedard scored in the first 2 minutes of the game with a beauty of a shot from the top of the zone. Happy that my Knights came back to win, but Connor looked good in this game.

  17. Everyone needs to chill. If people start writing him off after a half dozen games or so in the NHL, they've got their own issues to deal with.
Don't forget, even though Nathan McKinnon put up pretty solid numbers in his rookie year, the two or three years that followed were not pretty.
But go look at his plus minus and his points per game after those first few years. Of course the team got better, but he himself took things to another level even after being drafted first overall.
He thinks and acts on another level, and he's got that Sidney Crosby level dedication to the game.
He's going to figure it out and then some.
Just wait until you see a 21, 22, 23-year-old Bedard find his stride (and strength). It's gonna be a beautiful thing.
And then imagine the team that they can create around him, by the time he's 24, 25 – with all the draft picks they will have used, whether for actual draft picks or used in trades etc. Gonna be good times.
