  1. Like Edwards/Brick said, that Ducks team in 2-3 years is going to be a monster. they played well tonight but the bruins defense and goalie tandem are just keeping them in games.

  2. Soft schedule for Bruins,so high ranking, keep up high hopes before the 10 game losing streak!

  3. As long time hater of all things Boston, (sports) I knew people were mistaken saying the B’s were gonna fall off this year. Still plenty of time to do so, but my PTSD tells me, “yeah right!”

  4. Bergeron has the magic fluid to turn back time scores two tonight….LOL Thanks Shannon

  5. Boston did not deserve the win, but Ducks fumbled it at the end. They did so well all game and when they scored I was sure they were gonna rally into another shot and secure the lead but it wasn’t meant to be.

  6. I always said until we got ully that if he had a better team infront he would put up amazing numbers

  7. i mean who had boston going undefeated for the beginning of the season?
me. i knew they weren't done yet. they lost bergeron and krejci yet there is still alot of talent on that team.
Poitras seems to have some promises too so even the rookies are stepping up.

  8. I was at the game, and two things came to mind:

    1. The Bruins coming back to win this game (even though they didn’t play that well), is a great indicator for how the season is going to go.

    2. The Ducks just need experience. In a year or two, they’ll be a much better team, a playoff team.

  9. Thanks for all your hard work Shannon… I seriously get 90% of my hockey news from you now… I'd be lost without your channel.

  10. With all the injuries last season, everyone questioned whether the Bruins would even make the playoffs. This season they lose two all star centres to retirement and they're expected to take a big step back in the standings. The Bruins once again reject the expected reality and substitute their own. It'll be interesting when the Bruins host Detroit in a few days.

  11. Bruins have to have one of the best goalie tandems in the league, and it really shows inb games like this. Where they really need to grind out a win while getting outplayed for most of it.
To be fair the teams They've beaten so far aren't exactly expected to be contenders.

Their games against Detroit, Florida, & Toronto I think will be very telling for exactly how they measure in the East.

  12. Wake me up in game 30 stupid penalty everywhere easy and stupid referee destroyed every game I'm watching
Sorry, THG, I'm paused your channel I'm guessing it will take 30 games to go back to normal

  13. Ducks with a tough road week coming up and I hope the rookie coach doesn’t lose the team if we have a ghastly record by the Power Rankings. Ducks need a W in Columbus.

  14. This was pretty similar to the Ducks’ first game of the season against Vegas. Close game with lots of near misses, empty netter makes it look like a bigger difference than it was

  15. Think you can say that Boston is " Grinding out a few Ws " i think out of the 5 wins LA was the lone play off team, And the Bruins ground out a win their, wait till they start getting some puck luck !!! Thanks Shanny

  16. Thought the Poitras/Geekie/Lucic line was the best vs. the Sharks, and the Poitras/Geekie/DeBrusk line was the best line vs. the Ducks. Nice to have a young player like Poitras make the Bruins. It's been a while since they've had a young player surprise out of camp, make the team, and provide some optimism that he has the potential to develop into a top 6 player.

  17. I was at the game last night. Man this Ducks team is night and day from the last few seasons.

  18. That Poitras/Geekie chemistry is undeniable! Ully/Sway constantly bailing out Bruins sloppy defense. Future looks more promising for the B's than I thought.

  19. Generally feeling positive as a Ducks fan, nice to have a team with a pulse. We’ll just have to put away chances

  20. Ducks youth is currently in the growing pains phase where they want to make the right play (the extra pass) instead of the smart play (send it to the net)
They have solid zone entry and decent neutral zone play can really start getting some scoring going if they just put pucks on net and simplify with an already aggressive forecheck

  21. That was one very boring hockey game and the play-by-play guy put me to sleep. US hockey broadcasting is terrible.
