This Isles team overperform tonight and still lose, just goes to show how far this team really is from competing with the cup favorites. IMO if you're not challenging for a cup and don't have a roster that has an upward trajectory, you need to blow the team up and rebuild until you do. The Isles are setting themselves up for more decades to come without a cup. Hard to see it happen in real time as a fan.
