Somehow the refs get worse every game. Fucking handed this one to Seattle. Disgraceful.

That empty net miss at the beginning of the game ended up being huge.
We nearly pulled off a win against the Kraken AND the refs. Pretty impressive all things considered

Petition to either go back to 4 on 4 OT or make some substantial changes to 3 on 3 to make it watchable
A) Stop boarding their players
B) Fire all of the refs…holy moly that was horrendous.
I wasn’t going to blame anything on that stick throw but I’m going to now
Not going win every game. Team came out gunning in the 3rd. 11 of 14 possible points to start the season is nothing to complain about.
Getting a point in a game you were trailing by 2 goals in the third is a win in my book.
I hate losing. But I hate losing **like that** so much more.
Horrible officiating, but also really bad penalty for Larkin to take so late in the game.
I don’t want to make excuses or take away from Seattle’s play, because they played a tight game tonight and worked hard for their goals, but below NHL-standard reffing cost us at least 2 of those goals. Should’ve never gone to OT. We need to make sure we’re pulling away and shutting other teams down in these situations, but reffing was just bad tonight. Maybe they had to pull refs from the NCAA for tonight with all teams playing? Because that would be the only excuse for what I saw.
Clown officiating. Wings powerplay was the clear highpoint, pretty average to poor play otherwise.
Look 80-1-1 is still a respectable record during a rebuild we’ll be ok
We should have won that game. This is one of the most egregious examples of the refs stealing a win from a team I’ve seen in a long fucking time.

Penalty on Chiarot was a garbage call. Penalty on Larkin was a soft call given they just had a power play that ended. Compher held on the ground for 5 seconds in the corner on the winner
I’m not one to usually complain about officiating in the NHL, it’s probably one of the hardest sports to officiate and I totally understand humans aren’t perfect.
That being said, the throwing of the stick is inexcusable to miss. That was more than likely a goal, and ended up being a 2 point swing in the game off the break. It’s not like he was in traffic, or even near anyone, it was such a clear cut case

On that last goal the two guys got tangled up, and the seatle guy just kinda… grabbed him and pulled him down giving him a big hug while the puck got carried away by someone else.
