It’s Jimmy vesey and it’s a little shove from the side. Guys gotta be tougher on the puck hold your ground. Sure I’m a rangers fan I’m biased but I’m a hockey fan and can agree if a hit is dirty and this isn’t.

I know its early in the season but christ the refs have either missed blatant calls or called BS penalties. This keeps up I expect an all 32 GM call with the league.

This really isn’t that bad. He clearly engages from the side. He’s not fully showing numbers. Was it awkward? Yes. But it’s borderline imo.
And I’m a NJ fan.

Man I was at the game right above it and they didn’t show a good replay, but this conforms why everyone was booing the refs. He was hurt and defenseless, should have been a pen.

OK, this is an illegal hit. Every person on the ice needs to know that by this age! Why the hell do so many players think they can get away with this?
The answer is clear to me. They do get away with it all the time. They know there is a good chance that nothing happens, and they know it might be only 2 minutes if there is something.
I like a good rough game. I don’t want to see a player’s career ended for this crap. I want to see the ice filled with the top talent, not just the ones that didn’t get injured yet.

They need to make a rule change to try and avoid/punish these incidents in the future.
There’s three incidents like this that I can think of this season and someone is going to get permanent damage one of these times just crumpling into the boards.
