Nazzy looks so odd in the skate uniform. Just because he so represents the era when the Canucks first had the orca uniform. Nevertheless, I'd love to get a skate jersey and put Naslund 22 on it haha.
Certain players are synonymous with certain teams; and you associate them with that team. We as Vancouver fans are lucky to be able to call guys like Naslund, Linden, Bure, McLean, Bertuzzi our own.
In the 2002 NHL All-Star game, Eric Daze was tied in total points with 2 goals and 1 assist for the North America team who won the MVP award, while Markus Naslund also got 2 goals and 1 assist for the World team. Given the fact that Markus Naslund played on the winning team and also scored the game winning goal, then the MVP award should have been awarded to Naslund instead. But it looks like early voting screwed Naslund for the award as his goal was made late in the game. Talk about a huge injustice.
Think of this he got to play along side, Mario Lemieux and Jarmour Jagr Trevor Linden Pavel Bure Mark Messier, Henrik Sedin and Daniel Sedin, Todd Burtuzzi…. The list goes on and on…. This guy out played hockey player's. And never to hoist Lord Stanley's Cup

Watch Naslund play. Watch Eichel play. Replace the names on the back of the jerseys and you wouldn't know the difference.
