New Jersey outplayed and outmatched Montreal in this game. It was all Jack Hughes and Tyler Taffoli on the scoresheet in this one.I know Cole Caufield registered one generous assist, however, I didn't hear his name anywhere in this highlight pack.
Guys please watch Slaf more closely next game I promise you he is not invisible, he's actually been playing well this season. He looks a lot more confident with his body this year and (think the strong hit he finished in the 2nd period) and has gotten in front of the net with the puck more often. I will admit he has missed the net a lot I wish he'd just shoot it square on the goalie more. Don't forget the guy is only 19 and missed half of his rookie year. Give him time.
You cannot give these NJ Devils chances on the powerplay. Understandably it's a small sample size (5 games); but they are 44% on the Power Play (11 for 25)!
