    A little context may help some here;

    Dermot openly opposed the NHL and used Pride Tape on his stick a few nights ago, the NHL said they would look into a punishment, but have now entirely reversed the rule barring Pride Tape on sticks in warm-ups AND games.

    I’m a bit surprised he’s the only player so far to do it, considering how much ‘support’ has apparently been shown by other players. Here’s hoping our boys follow suit.

    Hockey is for everyone.

    That whole debate is so dumb. Most players wont use such tape, so why is it even politics?

    This reminds me of DeAngelo Williams (RB for the Carolina Panthers a while back). He wore pink gear and dyed his hair pink for the whole year and the NFL kept fining him constantly for it. Guy was just supporting a cause that affected his mother.

    These pro leagues need to mind their own fucking business.
