@Flames de Calgary

Je reviens après avoir signé deux contrats coûteux de 7 ans et plus avec deux joueurs de plus de 30 ans, puis avoir quitté la ville.

  1. And you just know he’s going to do the exact same with the Leafs a few years down the road

    Rebuild should have started as soon as Johnny and Matty left the team. I am sure ownership had something to do with it as well.

  3. In his defense, we lost two of our leading scorers and he managed to bring in, what appeared to be, multiple great replacements.

    It wasn’t just a deluded fantasy of Flames fans…pretty much everyone thought we were poised for a deep playoff run with MoneyPuck giving us the highest percentage chance to win the cup before the season started.

    The chemistry just wasn’t there, we all saw it over the course of the season…including Treliving.

    Obviously horrible decisions by Flames management. Anyone with half a brain could see, right from the day the contracts were signed, that these contracts were awful. Signing aging players who have never played for your team and who are coming off outlier career seasons rarely works out.

    But, are we going to keep blaming Treliving? It’s becoming increasingly obvious that the issue in Calgary isn’t the GM. It’s the ownership. As long as dirtbag Murray owns the team, I can’t see the Flames ever reversing fortunes. What a mess
