Either the sorry lindy chant, or jack saying well, we are on a heater

My favorite moment was when ESPN+ and my VPN got me so frustrated about three games into the heater that I bought Direct TV stream just to watch the team consistently.

Shame we’re already midway through our 95 game win streak

Maybe Haula picking up a chicken finger

I think it was around game 8-9 where I finally allowed myself to say, “I don’t think it’s strength of schedule. I think we are truly done with this rebuild.” The pure feeling about finally being TRULY excited about Devils hockey again was sooooo good. I still enjoyed watching the down years, but it never felt great.

That win against the Oilers. The one the entire team contributes as the turning point when everything clicked

It was the first moment I realized our 10 years of misery was finally over!

My favourite moment was when I designed the tattoo and then made a fool of myself by cursing us and had the subreddit after me /s.
Jk was probably getting to go to the Toronto & Ottawa games during the streak and seeing Haula’s snakebite curse lifted

I got really into hockey because of the streak and been riding the Devil’s wave ever since :’)
My favorite moment was actually watching the Devils win for the first time in person

After the Avs win when Nico was looking out to the fans and screaming “LETS GO” that was the beginning of something different for this team. That win against the Oilers tho, that was the true turning point.

Maybe the Ottawa OT win at home where Schmid came in late and had those massive saves on the penalty kill and then Dougie hammered a shot home (technically Nico’s though) to win it. It seemed as if they were due for a loss to bring them back to reality when the penalty in OT happened and instead they fought back and got a second wind to continue the heater for the rest of the month.
Second for me would be the 13th win against Edmonton. Just felt like nothing was getting in their way from tying the record and the buzz around the team was at an all time high.

The game against Edmonton on the west coast trip is where the team truly felt like they asserted themselves. Going into the 3rd down a goal against Edmonton, I went to bed assuming it would end up a loss with an empty netter against at best. Woke up to take a piss in the early morning and checked the scores and I was stunned. Double stunned when I noticed the tying and go ahead goals were within seconds of each other. Years prior the team would never overcome a third period deficit to extend a winning streak. Made me realize they wouldn’t be satisfied with just winning a couple here and there and making games competitive, they wanted to win every time they played.

When we beat the leafs. Because we did indeed beat the leafs.
