  1. Hot take – pasta needs to be relegated to the 2nd PP unit until he learns to STOP BEING A MONKEY FLINGING SHIT ALL OVER THE PLACE

  2. I learned last year don't underestimate Boston. Their culture simply does not allow the team to fall off and be a bad team. Even with no established centers

  3. For me, it's not just the fact that Poitras scored. It's the way he scored. That was an elite play he made to fight for position along the boards, strip the puck, then turn on the jets and finish the play with really good speed and touch. I don't want to get my hopes up way too much, but the fact that he's already 2C and got looks at 1C tonight speaks volumes about what the coaches think of him.

  4. Very impressive, but I don't see them winning the cup without a topline centerman. Poitras will win the calder trophy however – you heard it here first. XD

  5. My concern with bruins moving foward is too many penalties, too many shots on goal. The goal tending tandem is why we have this winning streak. I like the 3rd line a lot . They def need a trade to help 2nd or 1st line. If the goal tending holds up, they will be tough to beat night in and night out. There could be a few nights they get blown out if they dont tighten up defensively and stop taking penalties. I look foward to this season though!

  6. Ullmark is good but Bruins should focus the following years on locking up Swayman. Don't let this kid walk.
Mitchell i don't think will amount to a full timer.

  7. Total Poit head here! Man he is looking really good on the ice making plays happen and gett'n the puck to the goal.

  8. Not to discredit them but they haven’t exactly been facing off against the premier teams thus far

  9. All the so called "Experts" predicted Boston to be scratching for a playoff spot last year as well with the lineup they had then…..Now they are saying with the losses of some players over the off season we should be doing the same thing this year. What they obviously don't know is Jim Montgomery seems to have a system that works better than the other guys and his players benefit from it. The Bruins have plenty of talent in their lineup to be a contender, make no mistake about it. They honestly could rival last years record setting season as long as they continue to believe and buy in on his system. Plus I think they will still be looking to add a few players before the season is out.

  10. Geesh, last year, everyone said that the Bruins wouldn't be that great at the start of the season. And all summer long, all we heard is about how tough it would be this year without Krejci and Bergeron. Yes, I miss them, but a team is a lot more than just the stars. I'm so glad management bought in to keeping Swayman and Ullmark. It's giving the Bruins the time to develop their forward strategy. As for Poitras, if he's playing this good at game 40, I think he will be rookie of the year and not Bedard.

  11. I have been eating my words with JVR since I thought he was a bad move in off-season, but he's just a monster since becoming a bruin. Love it!

  12. This kid reminded me so much of my old Cam Neely photos with his first celebration last game in that jersey. Also, 51's my favorite number, hell yeah I'm a Poit-head!

I was ready for so much pain this season man, still am, I love being surprised like this

  13. Half their games have been against the hawks and ducks…relax…lets see how they are when they start facing higher end teams

  14. I wish goalies would get off their freaking knees. Too many goals going in over their shoulders because they're in the butterfly.

  15. The only thing that matters is how they perform in the playoffs. Last year proved regular season excellence doesnt count. This team needs to play tougher and harder come playoff time.

  16. We saw what happened last year. It's nice and all, but how many games into the season are we? I hate early hockey celebrations. Yes I am a Leafs fan, yes I hate how we're winning the cup every year. I actually loathe most of the media around the Leafs, and I also think it's ridiculous the best play by play announcer is doing radio and not the live TV games.

  17. Good start. But it’s been a cupcake schedule. Chi, SJ, Ana all bottom feeders of the league. Goaltending has been outstanding.

  18. Thanks for sharing….I'm a "pothead". I love what MP brings to the game, he is beyond his years. I look forward to seeing what else he does. Go B's…woooo 🙂

  19. Love me some Pot! kid looks phenomenal and is tons of fun to watch. glad that freddy didnt smash his face on the post after scoring lol close call

  20. People are surprised about Poitras having an immediate impact as a second round pick joining the team, yet that was exactly how Bergeron got his start too.

  21. If the Bruins had a perfect record, winning every regular season game, they would still choke and die in the first round to whatever half-sassed wildcard team they were put up against. They are the ultimate meme!
