We can't say what happened, weren't in the locker room. We know Jeremy had never won in Sunrise. And it wasn't like we got blown out nor swept.
We were the only team to take Panthers to seven games until they got to finals. That's a fact

If they want to question the coddling of Jeremy's schedule last season that might be a valid point, based on facts.
If they want to point out that our goalie coach gets bonuses based on the awards his goalies earn, how that could bias his judgment – even though I wouldn't agree – that could also be a valid point. Based on facts

Expecting that level of heroic athleticism every night is going to demand a goalie tandem to keep up.

Boston sports radio is already the dumbest thing on air, but this was extra special. First off, obviously no one in that room has spent anytime in a hockey locker room. I have never seen a situation where negative competition is better than pushing each other by wanting the other to succeed so you can surpass them. I'm a goalie who's mostly has played in leagues that were made up mostly of D1 players from big programs and a couple pros, but also have had fun playing town leagues with drafts where a guy who played in the NHL could be sharing a line with a first time skater. Felger and Mazz are the opposite of hockey players
They talk Hockey but are ignorant.. Felger is a football basketball guy and Mazz is a baseball guy .. Typical big Media BS

Swayman, Ullmark, and multiple people within the organization have spoken ad nauseam about how good their relationship has been for their on-ice performance. Last year the two of them were in the top stats for goalies, and it's looking like this year will be very similar. No one in their right mind would be complaining about that.
Just say your problem is with men being openly and genuinely affectionate with each other, don't hide it behind the asinine take of "the bear hugs are making the goalies less competitive". 🙄
These guys hate on everything. They literally like nothing, don't even know anything about the sports or anything that's going on within the sport, especially if it's outside of Boston like if certain teams are doing a certain thing because that's what everyone's doing they'd have no clue.
