  1. Too many boneheads on the roster burning up much needed salary & a coach who sees the writing on the wall and is actively trying to get himself fired.

  2. There is no reality based tangible problem. The Oilers changed a few things and they expected a better result, all we have left now is a question, do they continue down this crooked path and hope the road straightens out or do they backtrack 2x time and do a restart to their Season by returning to last years presentation while they still can? The Oilers real problem is deciding what to do and how to do it,seems like a fairly long running problem to me. People get paid a lot of money to solve these types of problems. I would make a Public statement that we tried a new approach to start the Season but the results vs our efforts have led us to feel that our Identity has already been forged in Fire as an Offensive Team that pushes the River harder than anyone in the NHL so we shall stick to that and forsake our recent changes. Settle it all down right now.

  3. Its the defense, they look so slow and really the whole team looks un motivated right now

  4. Why pick one? They can’t defend, can’t get saves, aren’t tough, & rely on the power play to win games. Not gonna do much with that.

  5. Frist of all its the same problem the team been dealing with for many years now, defence and goalies. Plain and simple. And get rid of the dam GM hes destroying this team.

  6. Frist this team has the same problem for many years now, the goalies and defence are very much an issue, this team will no where until you fire the GM hes done nothing but destroyed the Oilers.

  7. Depth. And utilizing it. Listen when 97 and 29 are on the ice you know what to expect. Gotta roll lines and let hockey happen.

  8. What do McDavid and Draisaitl have in common with Beavis and Butt-Heat? It doesn't matter how much they score they're still losers.

  9. D core is bad and forward depth. They allow far to many good chances against them and no goalie is going to make those saves and they don't generate enough going the other way when Mc D and Drai aren't on the ice.

  10. Obviously its the implementation of Woodcroft's new 5v5 box zone defense system, its completely stiffled the team and it was very predictable. He should be fired on stupidity alone.

  11. I think the biggest problem with the oilers might actually be the media. Also time to get rid of shwartz.

  12. A few factors for the slow start:
    1. Power play not clicking at even close to same rate as last year
    2. Not as many goals off the rush (last year 2nd in league vs. around 28th this year so far)
    3. A consistently, effective team defensive system not yet set
    4. Injuries (Ekholm not having enough reps; Kane still trying to come back from the skate laceration)
    5. Edmonton media causing needless pressure cooker atmosphere (for God's sake it has only been 5 games!!)

  13. The Oilers biggest problem is the cacophony of media telling them everything is wrong with them
Fucking every single October, everyone forgets that the regular season is 82 games

  14. After what McDavid said about him enjoying the lgbtq nights in the NHL , my answer is BOYCOTT THE OILERS .
go woke go broke. Maybe this is why the Oilers are so pathetic. Sissies dont win in a real mens game.

  15. EVERYBODY, I believe, was expected by management, to improve their game,. After all, very little roster moves were made. I think expectations remain for EVERYBODY to up their game. Including the injury call ups.

  16. Ok they're playing terrible but all you come with as a bad play by Kane is he took a shot at the net?? Come on, you can do better!

  17. 1. AHL goaltending or at best two back up tendys.
    2. 9.25M cap hit for a 4.5-5M Dman.
    3. D core is bottom tier in defending. The fundamental thing to do as a Dman
    4. Zone D implemented
    5. Justin Schwartz is the tendy coach.
    6. Bouchard might be the worst defensive player in a top pairing role in the entire league
    7. Ryan and Janmark were signed instead of Kostin
    8. Coach refuses to bag skate group after sloppy game
    9. Bottom 6 isn’t good enough, hard enough
    10. Everyone but the Oil can see the above 9 issues
