  1. If it wasn't NYR taking the cup home, I wanted it to be LA.  Great game.. officiating, not so much, but still, LA earned the win.  Now I will go wallow in my own sorrows of spiraling depression until October comes around.  LGR.

  2. What a great stanley cup final!!! Even though I am a Blackhawks fan, the LA Kings deserve to win the Stanley Cup!!

  3. Amazing run for both teams, incredibly proud of them. They both deserved the win & battled hard. But as a kings fan, i couldn't be happier.

  4. Congrats to the Kings, but I was really hoping coach AV would win the cup to make Mike Gillis look even worse.

  5. There are true hockey fans in California.  I've been a Kings fan ever since I use to watch hockey with my dad in the early 70's when the Kings really sucked and wore yellow and purple.  Also use to watch the California Seals who were the other team back then.  Forget those other two teams there has always been one original California team for me and that's the LA Kings!

  6. It was hard seeing lunqvist collapse after that game winning goal. The rangers were so dam close, but they'll get em next year. So proud to be a rangers fan. Gratz to the kings, well deserved. Both teams showed much class, unlike Montreal or Boston.

Just because you like Henrik and think he's the best and better than Brodeur, doesn't make it true.  What you are missing here, junior, is cold hard facts; which I have in spades. Brodeur is the best of all time, because of his records…..PERIOD.  You can keep talking if it makes you feel better about that fact, I don't give 2 shits. Is Brodeur the current best "Playing Goaltender"…of course not, he's damn near 43 years old. That doesn't change the FACT that he's the best goaltender who ever played the game which is solely based on his records (Franchise and NHL). There is no debating that.  No one is comparing his current abilities to Henrik current abilities, get that through your thick skull.  Martin's past his prime and Henrik is just entering his. You can't compare the 2.  However, you can compare Martin Brodeur to Henrik when Brodeur was Henrik's current age.  Doing so you will see that Brodeur had helped his team win 3 Stanley Cups in in the first 13 years of his playing career.  Henrik who has been playing for 13 years now has helped his team win DIDDLY SQUAT. So with those facts I'm gonna go with Martin Brodeur has better than Henrik when he was at the age of Henrik.
