I usually think teams show who they are by the end of the tenth game, so far, the Canucks are on the right track. Good to see their main competition playing worse than they are. If they keep this up, we will all be surprised. Maybe the new Management actually knows what they're doing.
Are the Canucks playing smart defensively. Are their roles defined precisely especially forwards back checking? I would say, Not yet.
I get tired of broadcasters blaming poor defensive hockey totally on defensemen. Defense is a 6 man job.
