Jay, this is the way I see it. I'll refer to tennis as an example. You can't tell a base line player to start serving and volleying or to chip and charge, or to rush the net every second shot and tapping it away with the precision volley for the point The player is a hard core base liner with a 100 mpg forehand. That's their game. Teaching that player anything else outside of a base line game, just screws with their head and their game. Does every coach want to make that player better and more well rounded? Of course. But some players are just built for a specific game and once you start screwing with that they get knocked out of their orbit and start floating aimlessly into outer space.
Please change the system back to the original one and acquire more defenseman and a reliable goalie 😡. Plus you can’t win playing with players who don’t care and are not performing: EVANDER KANE , CONNOR BROWN .
He said the “New Defence system “ was used by Boston last year..
1) You are not the Bruins 2) You don’t have the Bruins defence 3) The Bruins were out in the first round of the playoffs last year. 4) It’s NOT working 5) Everything about this new system makes no sense.

It's totally dissapointing how the team performs, all the strengths of the team are gone and defense is poor and terrible. I like Jay, but there is no room for more loosing. The Oilers already lost more than 5% of all games and my question is, how this team will still get a playoff rank…..
