I hope you were joking when you said we should trade Kahkonen!! He’s 5 times better than Talbot. The Wilds D core and the fact EVERYONE blocks shots make Talbot look good to the untrained eye, but it’s no coincidence he’s been back up most of his career. Look at his last 4 or games for example. 4.75 GA Avg and .845 save pct. And before you (or anyone else) bring up Kahkonen’s bad performances, keep in mind ALL of them came because he goes weeks without playing. Last year when Talbot got hurt Kappo came in and won 9 in a row! And he’s showing the same this year. Goalies need to play. And nobody knows that better than Talbot himself. He was a phenom his rookie year when Lundquist got hurt. But once the King got healthy he ruined talbot’s career because he always wanted to play. That’s why when Talbot agreed to sign here it was under the condition he played every game unless he wanted the night off.
