It doesn’t matter if your goalie lets in one or ten goals if you don’t score goals. There is a culture problem with the Oilers, that usually starts at the top. Who is leading the Oilers? It sure wasn’t Draisaitl, he lost nearly every puck battle and gave the puck away multiple times. Too much time on their cell phones and too little time bonding and jelling as a team. Too many fragile egos and too little toughness. Culture is everything in team sports. Are these super stars coachable? Time to put on your big boy pants Oilers.
I have a feeling the Oilers are going to be this seasons Florida Panthers. They will struggle all season but just manage to squeek into the playoffs as a lower seed and go on a run to the final. The Oilers are trying to fool me but i am not easily fooled.
