We are so much fucking worse than 3 injured starters. We are fundamentally bad.

  2. njibbz

How the heck do you put maroon out there before the dewies?…

  3. Panarin10

Been a while since I’ve been this happy to get a point.

One positive thing about this season is every loss we’ve fought back to make it close at some point. Guys have not given up.

Better record after 8 games than last season so there’s still hope.

  4. This team is lottery bound for the next 3 years

  5. _nordstar_

Why not out dew or Brodin out there

  6. echelon999

Can’t get embarrassed in round 1 of the playoffs is you don’t make it at least.

  7. MNstorms

Dean should be fired for his love of Maroon. First you put him on the PP then in the shootout? Pathetic.

  8. Empire2k5

You can’t miss that many open nets in so. Atleast one point

  9. EvilJ1982

It never ceases to amaze me how the Wild make ordinary ass goalies look like a Vezna winner in overtimes and shootouts…

  10. TheSkeletones

Feels like every year gets worse and worse in the “cap-hell” era.

  11. jmaldonado15

Flower played his heart out. He deserved better tonight.

  12. letoiledunordstars

maroon over dewar (scores most of his goals on breakaways) in the shootout is certainly a choice

  13. Primary-Pie-3315

Don’t even want to tune into the devils game. Gonna be a lot of soul searching after sunday.

  14. Red_0utlaws

I know we are down ~$30M but we should not be doing this bad.

  15. ShepherdOfNone

We should consider ourselves lucky as fuck that we got one point

  16. CitizenStrife

Maybe this isn’t the year to try. Let Rossi and Faber keep killing it and wait things out.

  17. HerbalAndy

Hate to say it but other than that game against the Oilers.. the top line has been bad.. like really bad. And also I hate to say it but I think Kap and Zucc have a lot to do with that.. I don’t know why but it legit looked like Kap was checked out of this game.. either something is wrong or that man is frustrated

Shake it up Dean! I want new looks!

  18. TheSkeletones

Does Deano survive the buyouts? It’s becoming clear that something within the FO is fucked if the same problems exist regardless of personnel

  19. Molarpistols

Y’know, if this team could accurately pass and/or accurately shoot, they’d be dangerous

  20. Darcy Kuemper had more saves in this game alone than in 5 years with the Wild. At least we got a point. We can’t win them all, on to the next one.

  21. mayflowerss98

I feel like I only saw hunt out there for one shift the entire game. I don’t remember seeing him besides the ovi goal when he was right there.

  22. microkindness

That was the .500 showdown. Doesn’t get more showdown-y than a 7 shot shootout.

Flower showed up. Keumper def showed up.

I miss the Spurgeon General. Boldy. Freddy

    It’ll come.

  23. Radagastdl

Rossi was outstanding. Flower played great. Hartman at least brought energy. Everyone else was kinda meh

How many shifts did Hunt actually play?

  24. MightyMiami

We pay Kaprisov how much to just pass it to Zuccarello? I think Rossi has more goals.

  25. essenceofpurity

    Hey everybody

I just got out of double hernia surgery in Fargo. What’s going on?

  26. PepperWilling4393

Hunter Haight had a 2 assist night – 13 points in 9 games for a 1.44 ppg pace puts him in the top 10 for players in the OHL in that category

Kyle Masters’ first goal in a game where Iowa once again got its ass kicked

Ryan O’Rourke got an assist too for his fourth point in six games

  27. CloudViking19

Using Pat Maroon in the shootout tells me everything I need to know.

  28. vedicardi_lives

shootout loss who cares. great play from fleury and kuemper for that matter

  29. DataDotZaga

I really want to be excited to watch this team but every single year since the buyouts it’s like we’re watching a preview of what this team could look like once it isn’t handicapped. I’ll never understand buying out contracts in a way that will fuck us over for 5 straight years. We’re literally playing with 2 ghosts on the roster while the rest of the league gets to enjoy a full roster. How do you fuck up that badly?

  30. palpytus

I hope we get a good draft pick this year

  31. tompear82

Shootout would have been over in the 3rd round if Freddy was playing
