  1. Get used to this… this is the norm for this season! This team isn't skilled enough to win games… we need Goal scorers and playmakers!! losing PLD and Wheels destroyed the playoff chances! nut at least the snowflakes aren't angry anymore. thanks snowflakes! this is what emotions get you! WE WILL NOT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS!

  2. Tonights game wasn't as bad as Tuesday's game against the Kings. Tuesday was just brutal. After the hit with Vilardi, everything just went to shits. They just couldn't bounce back. I thought they played solid tonight. They had a lot of scoring chances in the 1st and 3rd period. The effort was there but we just couldn't capitalize. Our D is whats hurting us. Pionk, Stanley and Dillion need to go. We need D guys who will defend the puck, make smart plays and not create turn overs. Anyway, it's still early on in the season. We'll just wait to see what happens. I still have high hopes for this team. Especially when Vilardi and Heinola returns. Lets just keep it positive 🙌 #GoJetsGo

  3. I really don’t think we played that bad. We outplayed them hard, Logan Thompson made some insane saves and our defence was weak. Forwards looked really solid in my opionion

  4. The JETS played well in two of their three losses, but that counts for nothing. We need to figure the defensive situation out or this will be a really long season. GO JETS GO!

  5. The Saturday Central Time Jets-Oilers’ game will be the first non-preseason away one to be played by the Jets since their April loss to the Golden Knights of the final game of that playoff series. Lose that upcoming game and the Jets may find themselves dead last in the Western Conference.

  6. Dillion Stanley Schmidt gots to go I seen a post that said Winnipeg can’t afford a rebuild but in my opinion fans would probably much rather watch young guys grow than the same old hockey since 2019 they have looked good at times this year but just so inconsistent in every aspect of the game

  7. I look at the positives here, and that is the Jets outshot Vegas 40 – 26, and that's usually
good enough to win with. The Jets right now are not getting good goaltending, with their
Goalies averaging around .850 % for save percentage. Another positive is that second line
is coming to life, and that's key for the Jets to win, to get Ehlers and Perfetti scoring. Also
the 3rd line played great, with Iaffalo getting 2 goals, so the guys they back from the LA
trade are looking very good, as well as Kupari. All in all I'm pretty happy with their play.

I did not like Appleton on the 1st line, as I think he should be on the 4th line, or with the
Moose. They need a big body on that 1st line that can dig out pucks off the boards and
feed Scheifele and Connor. I would go with Barron or Kupari on that 1st line, and we're good.

On the defence, I would play one of, or both Chisholm and Capo, as I think their both good
solid players. I'd take Stanley out as his foot speed is slow, and he will get caught a lot.

If the Jets keep playing the way they are, and tighten up on the defence, and Helle steps
up for them and brings his SP % back up to about .920 %, like last year, we'll do great. The
other thing, is the Jets and their fans should not get down on themselves, as there's a
lot of positives I see. The season is just starting, and the Jets will do well.

  8. How can you be optimistic when we have all known for years that our defense is as weak as they get? Our team has no real identity or heart. I hoped that Lows would change that, but he has no effect on the group. Goaltending is not our problem, they can only do so much when the boys in front make serious mistakes and give aways in the d zone. The entire defense core needs a rebuild. J-Mo is the strongest we have, and that isn't good enough. Get the young guys in there and give them a shot. Don't think they could do any worse. Not going to be a fun season to watch… Maybe the rumors of Chipman/Chevy making the team weak to move them will turn out to be more than just rumors…

  9. It’s apparent . No luck is going the Jets way. If this keeps up, it’s going to be a very long year.

  10. We play Edmonton at home does anyone actually think we’re gonna come out of there with a victory?

  11. The Jets need to sellout every game. The fact thatI do have season tickets, for the fans not showing up because of the performance, understand that the team may move if we don’t purchase tickets and seats. Regardless of the financial situation, Winnipeg is clearly taking advantage of the fact that we’ve now had a team for over a decade. We are forgetting the privilege to have a team in the big leagues

  12. Yes the effort was there. But when some make glaring errors, (at this level ?), the result is usually a deflating goal. And I do agree, Stanley, Mason and a few more on back end, have to go. It is pretty simple, if your defence cannot get the puck to the skilled forwards, well, we all see the results. Our division is definitely not blessed with strong teams, so, I still have hope.
