It would be pretty weird for the Canucks not to be better than last year when they already improved significantly under Tocchet. The lineup is definitely stronger though the lack of good prospects is concerning. Unless RePete, Willander and Letkerimaki pan out, like, next season, this team is going to be treading water for a few years. We have a baseline NHL caliber lineup now that can challenge for playoffs. A lot more is needed to elevate the team.

Now 10 days later after this video, McDavid is injured and out for 1 or 2 weeks. The Canucks will benefit from this.
McDavid talking about the Canucks pulling Demko saying its questionable when they legit did the same exact thing last year with their goalie, and the one the put in, wasnt even an actual roster player. At least the goalie we put in, was our backup. Also if they were up 7-1 they would be rolling out PP1 still.
