Kane isn't what Toronto needs
Good take on both these guys, I think both could fit on the Leafs if the cost is not too high
Look 4 me we need d he doesn't have score goals . He has 2 just play defense.
Use a green screen.
You can't teach 6' 6" and mean. Love it go get him.
Vincent Desharnais – make it happen
No chance Kane lands on Leafs. No need for him on the PP. No reason to create a spot for him on the PP, so there is no value bringing him on for anything more than league minimum and there is absolutely no way he doesn't find a contract at 3.5 or better.
Reeves and Holmbergs spots are open but things are going well so I think we leave it for now. Kane is welcome easily and let's get that Defenceman
The offense Is a All star team thier close
If they're no going to try to improve the defense, why bother doing anything at all
Let some other teams get him,Toronto needs size.
As long as Toronto doesn't lose 1 of Their good Positional Players like Domi Bertuzzi, Giordano.
don't want kane
Ok let me get this right , the leafs who’s team defence is at best a normal team playing D and their core on D is at best normal are going to add a good player who at his best wasn’t that good defensively and a defensemen who comes from Edmonton, who’s core is one of the worst D cores in the NHL? That’s funny the leafs need 2 more Ds that can play defensively and can move the puck and until they do that , they aren’t contenders they’re pretenders
Small, skilled forwards shouldn't be our priority obviously. If you get a chance to pick up a Patrick Kane for a song then by all means but not in lieu of a bone crushing, defence-first dman.
I feel like getting Kane would be a load management situation. Slot him in on the third line with knies and Kampf with spot time on the power play, giving the leafs the ability to move him up and down the line up in case the other guys aren't going. This isn't about Kane the point producer as it is Kane the depth piece. If they can work him in cap wise they can see if he's a good fit between now and the deadline .if not they can move him to another contender.
I don't care if Daharnais ( sorry for misspelling) is big with a mean steak. As long as he's tough and play the position without being a hindrance to the d core.
Leafs need defence
