So I included some stats for the Rangers as they're the only ones that scored (DOH). Another poor defensive effort. ZERO offence. I mean ZERO from the Oilers. The suckage continues boys and girls, something smells and needs to be taken out. We'll see what happens, take care all.
I dont know who started this "Cup or Bust" – "Favourites to win" talk! As if the Oilers needed extra pressure. To me that's part of the current problems. Cant handle the pressure! As for me I kinda saw this coming this year, defense was not addressed over the summer. That's our achilles heel. Imo KH should not be afraid to make some fundamental changes….Bouchard and Cece should be traded for something more useful, Boo is too much of a liability. The Booch Bomb is not enough to keep him. Nurse can take over the PP duties and try to earn his 9.3 million. Also, we need to upgrade Ryan, Macloed, Erne and Landmark upfront. Watching Kostin and Bjugstad walk was a big loss (thanks to Nurse) . We need to find some players of similar ilk.
It seems like the "knock out" the Nuckles delivered in the first game has shattered the confidence of the team. Still suffering some team grogginess and perhaps post concussion syndromes. 👊
