3 of 4 points on a back-to-back is great, especially when the team looked so passionate out there!
The refs might have torpedoed that last point but if that was the price of admission to see a Canucks team who looked utterly playoff worthy, so be it.
Guys are feeling it. So fun to watch. I feel Petey is going to take another step soon and Mikheyev is going to continue to gain speed. Their line is going to be incredible.
This is the best the team has been in years. Not just to get 3 points in a back to back, but go to OT and in some ways outplay a playoff team, and they didn’t give up a 5v5 goal all weekend.
The team still really needs their bottom six to step up offensively. Can’t keep expecting the top six to play at their current pace or be injury free.
The production from Suter, Beauvillier, and Garland is starting to get worrying, despite them playing well enough otherwise.

Proud of the team for last game but annoyed at not getting the W.
Also annoyed that VGK-LAK was a 3 point game…because that’s right we’re back to watching the standings!
Gonna try to put the frustration of that game behind and focus on all the positives so far…
But the next time we win a game on « generous reffing » I’m pulling up this game as a counterpoint
I mean the refs gotta win one for a big US market feom time to time. Its what makes the NHL tick right.
We can be pissed about the refs or can be happy that we led in expected goals and kept them to a total of 7 medium/high danger chances (4-3) while we had more than double that at 16 (13-3). We absolutely played our balls off that game and only really had one growing point(power play). 5 of 6 points from a week is pretty damn good
