That missed call was so egregious that you should subscribe to make up for it! We're on the way to 4K, join in for a fun season!
I enjoy reading how Vancouver was the better team, because I will always love beating a better team than losing to a lesser one. 100% of the time.
I foresee that only four people on the ice tonight won't make it to the post-season.
Lame but Canucks were the better team so we don't have to worry about it being a bad game on their end, they are still a guaranteed playoff spot.
4 pts From The Defense Tonight
Everytime Myers or soucy just Bad Defense cost are Game Desmith was Great we need another Defenseman cost us 2 Goals Myers and soucy pairing yikes
Respectfully, I must disagree with your take on the OT non call. I believe that it is 57.1 and 57.3 of the rule book that argues that if incidental contact is made causing a player to trip, this is not to be called. Looking at the video replay, as Elias Pettersson is skating towards the net (by the B circle), Chris Kreider decides to do a 180 turn to challenge the shot parralel or from behind Pettersson. Unfortunately, as Pettersson is skating towards Kreider, and Kreider is turning, Pettersson's toe (or front part of the skate) makes contact with Kreider's heel (or back part of the skate). Kreider does not extend his leg prior to contact, and the play cannot be ruled as purposeful contact (especially when it is taken into consideration that Kreider is not facing Pettersson when the incident occurred). So I agree with the non call.
Time to pulled a trade soon November make it or Break
The MSG guys said it was a penalty
Its a win in my books. Canuck dominated the Rangers in overtime.
Considering it's back to back games and fighting both the refs and rangers, getting one point in fine
I think tonight’s game shows how brutal it is to be an official. The linesmen are hit… like three times? And yeah it’s a bad way to end the game but like the panel said after the game it’s hard to call that a trip if you are looking for more than a guy falling over.
Either way, if this continues we have a playoff team on our hands.
Refs get paid way too much for me to have any sympathy for such a horrible non-call. All four had a clear view of the blatant trip. Hard to believe there aren't incentives to favour ny. The too many men call to put them 5 on 3 was also garbage
I wouldn't blame the pk too much not much you can do on a 5 on 3
6 power plays 1 goal brutally miss call for sure but 1/6 unacceptable they beat themselves
Brutal
Frustrating end, but we played well
I'm a Rangers fan and think Vancouver is definitely for real, blaming the refs is pretty cheesy. To say "on the third time, I can clearly see….."
This is a really, really good Vancouver team. How many scoring chances did Vancouver miss the net completely? The 5 on 3 double minors played a factor in their loss too. Basically, unforced errors.
God bless you guys, you're tons of fun to watch and SCARY GOOD. Well'll see ya again in the Garden.
Going up against the best goalies in the League is problematic at best. Sure, the Canucks dominated much of the overtime, but one mistake like having your own player trip you while you have the puck, and the ice suddenly leans the other way. I've seen it 100 times and will probably see it 100 more. Canucks played a good game. Cheers!
If the Canucks don't win the Stanley Cup I would be disappointed
5 2 1 is not something to be frustrated about… that ranger team is really good …. hard fought game and well deserved point…
