Hot take: given the two alternatives of going 7/11 or playing JuJu I hope Boldy is back as soon as possible. And if forced to pick maybe give another chance to JuJu but pick 7/11 if it goes sideways again. I don’t know if anything was done in the first game of the day but I hope there’s at least a moment of silence in memory of Adam Johnson.

I cannot fathom going 11-7 if you don’t have to. If the Wild had a wealth of quality defensemen and utilized 2 on at least one of the power play combos, sure.
But they don’t. They skated Hunt for under 5 minutes in the last game, and I can’t imagine him being relied upon much against a Stanley Cup contender in New Jersey.
But it is what it is.
This is the kind of matchup where if the boys have fun that’s the best win i can ask for.
