   Puck movement stinks even strength, no structure on D or on offense, can’t break out of the neutral zone. Sure blame the players, but these issues have to be on Huska and the coaching staff too – these issues werent so bad last year. Shoutout Weegar, great game from him.

   I was willing to give Huberdeau a chance to get better after last season, but honestly it’s become pretty clear that this is going to be the player we are paying 10.5 million for every season. What a fuckin disappointment.

    This team looks like such an non threat. The opponents just wait for the cycle to bust and get out of the zone. No danger when the flames are in the offensive zone.

    I am so embarrassed being a Flames fan after tonight. What a terrible performance by our team on such a special event like this. The time it took to make the logos, jerseys, goalie helmet, etc. and that’s what we get in return from this team… rebuild.

    I think we should send Coronato down to the Wranglers. He’s been good but I think this is just teaching him bad habits and a losing culture. Get him down with the farm and bring up another young player to get some reps

    Some quick thoughts:

    Huby – so very bad. You would think that on a night like tonight, he would be able to find another gear but he somehow disappoints again. Didn’t notice him at all in the 2nd or 3rd until he was offside with 3 minutes left.

    Lindholm – he’s been given a large pass this year because of how bad Kadri and Huby have been but wtf was that effort? Completely unnoticeable. If he can’t be bothered to play well in a contract year it does not bode well if we sign him long term.

    Breadman – This man scored 33 goals? Does not look dangerous at all. Flubs 1-2 chances a game completely.

    Our 4th line – one of the few bright spots. Says a lot that when the game is on the line we’re playing guys like Hunt.

    Weegar – Guys a beauty. Might be our best player this season.

    But yes – this shit needs to be blown up

    Put me on Team Tank, this team even when things are going right aren’t going anywhere if they somehow make the playoffs.

    If we’re gonna suck, I’d rather we suck so bad we get a good chance at 1st overall. Trade Hanifin, Tanev, Vladar, and Lindholm at the deadline, stock up on draft picks. Bring up Zary, Poirier, and Wolf and see what they can do at the NHL level.

    The Huberdeau and Kadri contracts will suck but they will at least help us hit the cap floor during the lean years.

    That was extremely hard to watch. This team has no soul, no drive. That first period was seriously some of the worst hockey I’ve seen a team play

    I legit don’t think I can watch this team anymore. I’ve seen us suck before but they still looked like they were trying.

    This squad is not trying. It’s honestly ruining watching hockey for me. Sucks because they’re my ride or die but it’s just a total waste of time watching these scrubs bumble around for two hours. Really don’t know where the team goes from here but I don’t think I can watch this shit anymore until serious changes happen
