  1. Hard to believe that just a few years ago, Patrick Roy had this team at 112 points and 1 goal away from the second round.

  2. I often think 'MAN THE AVS ARE TERRIBLE' then I painfully remember I'm a Canes fan and we lost to them both times last season.

  3. I have faith in the avalanche, if they keep Duchene and Mackinnon and they have great years, along with veteran players like Landeskog and the rookies play an awesome year, along with good goal tending, they could make it. So what if they get swept or loose in first round, they will have made it. Look at the maple leafs, they finished dead last in 2015-16. They got some new rookies (although I don't think avalanches rookies are as good as Matthews and Marner) they came out strong and proved everyone wrong. This year I think they are a possible Stanley cup final contender or at least eastern conference final contender. Don't give up yet Avs fans there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.

  4. I don't normally care enough to comment… but this video sucks. They dumped a huge chunk of the old and slow roster but "didn't make any major changes." How about just saying "we didn't bother doing our research because we don't care about teams that Crosby, Mathews, or Mcdavid aren't on."
