The Bruins strength is its goaltending.
5-0 Great start but it has been a fairly easy schedule, great goaltending,
bruins are still lacking that 1 forward for the top 6, as Coyle and Poitras swap doesn't change that one hole, JVR,Lucic,geekie,freddy,beecher are 3rd line at best, JVR is great for PP1 but not a top 6 guy anymore, if you can get a good package for one of the goalies this is the year to do it.. we ain't playing both when playoffs start..WE ALREADY KNOW THIS😥
Its a message to Jake to say hes a role model now and Poitras will be looking up to you because hes around his age. He needs to set an example and pick up the leadership slack left from bergy.
5-0. When you are winning, you just try to keep it going. This team is way better than many give them credit for. Goaltending and defense are elite. The forwards are doing enough to go 5-0 (not bad!). The pundits were saying we needed another top 6 forward; Poitras then arrives and the goalposts get moved again? Every team could use another top 6 forward. This team is shaping up to be another overachieving squad; people forget the Bs were supposed to be just average when last season started. I am very encouraged with the balance on this team. Coaching is also very important and we have an excellent coach, especially for a young player like Poitras. It's early in the season, but things are looking good!
