Hey, everyone asking for a rebuild. This may not be a typical rebuild but we sure as hell gonna be getting some good draft picks for the next couple years

Odd how many former Flames flourish once they’ve been traded/leave

Happy for Toffoli, unhappy with the return we got for him.

Flames: Sign players in late 20s, early 30s
Flames fans: Stop that.
Flames: Trade players in late 20s, early 30s
Flames fans: I can’t believe we didn’t extend him.
Yeah, he’s doing well and we suck. But let’s be real… Toffoli isn’t the reason we’re not playing well. Adding him to the lineup isn’t going to magically make guys give a shit.
Moving him was the right move, and a guy like Sherangovich is still young with plenty of upside to pan out.

He wanted a longterm extension to stay with the Flames. Conroy balked, and rightfully so. But then he dropped the ball in trading him in a « win now » type of deal instead of moving him strictly for futures.
But regardless, the Flames don’t exactly have a Jack Hughes to pair Toffoli with anyway.

We are NOT starting the we should have signed Toffoli Narrative and if we are then everybody gotta stop pretending their on team rebuild

Glad to see him playing well. Jersey has built a nice looking team and added a player that they thought would fit in. Still glad we didn’t re-sign him.
