I know when he first broke into the league, he kind of got that “top-6 or bust” label, but I’ve always seen a bit more Honey Badger in his game.
I really think missing the AHL hurt his overall game, and it seems like the stint in Abby helped him get back on track.

The Sedins are really the gift that keeps on giving. Having them able to talk and mentor our young players is gonna be Invaluable for the team.

His cycling game is certainly getting better! The fact that he possesses good speed and agility also doesn’t hurt. And if he can find his hands, which were scouted to be one of his core strengths before the draft, he could really be a valuable piece of this team.

More ice time for Hogs and it’s showing

Mark my words, one day the Sedins will coach this team. The only issue is that they both can’t be head coach at the same time.

They might be going over video of Jannik Hansen going full honeybadger
Surprised nobody’s mentioned this Spittin’ Chiclets interview with Bieksa. Time stamped the relevant bits about the new coaching staff, Chris Higgins on Foote/Gonchar and the Sedins showing up more and more often to help the Canucks forwards.
Whole Bieska interview is good.

Wouldn’t mind seeing Hogs get some tutoring from guys like Jannick Hansen and Alex Burrows either. He’s more of those guys than the Sedins but some advice from our legendary Swedish twins couldn’t hurt
