Keefe says he hasn’t bothered talking to the ice crew since both teams play on the same ice. Meanwhile, the article points out how the bad ice is advantageous to the less skilled team and how the Leafs players have to consciously simplify their game due to the poor ice conditions.

Our ice has always been trash. It amazing that they’ve never fixed after all these years. That said it has been really warm lately.

I just think it’s a bit embarrassing for the biggest franchise to have poor ice. If VEGAS can have good ice, I’m sure we can find a way to get it to at least that level
Legit every year theres this same article…. you play in a multipurpose facility thats booked all year…. its gonna be like that, especially before its really cold out. Mitch knows this.. hell anyone here thats played on SBA ice, knows how soft it is.. both teams play on the same ice though, theres no advantage and Mitch just hasnt played well so probably frustrated.
The arena was designed for basketball not hockey, this has been going on for years
Would be nice if they ever bothered to do something about it, since its been well known that the ACC has some of the worst ice in the NHL for atleast a decade.
The ice has always sucked at they’re rink whatever it’s called these days
