Aperçu de la saison 2018-19 des Blues de Saint-Louis

C’est une équipe dont nous sommes presque tous d’accord qu’elle est meilleure cette année qu’elle ne l’était la saison dernière. 1. Watching this now after STL won Stanley cup. You’re a friking physic.

    You called them finishing third.

You called Allen having issues-head issues

You called the great players potentially having problems gelling….

    Genius….pure genius.

Only thing you missed …Binnington 😉😜 But who could have foreseen that!?

  2. Really a great job. Hindsight is 20/20. Blues are your new Stanley Cup Champions 2018-19! LGB!!!

  3. Pretty close prediction, they not only were a playoff team but finally took home Lord Stanley’s Cup. Only player you missed was Binnington. Opps🏒🏒🏒

  4. Its funny because Binnington was on nobodies radar back then. Who knew he would come out and help them win a cup

  5. The funny thing is they did finish 3rd in the central and they did win the cup. Most notably because of Binnington whose name wasnt even mentioned in this video. How crazy of a season is that.

  6. This video reminds me of why sports can be so great. One of the most knowledgeable hockey observers in the world gives a lengthy season preview and doesn't even mention the goalie in the system who ends up outright stealing the Blues their first Stanley Cup in Game 7 on the road. It's hilarious listening to him (correctly) identify Allen faltering as a possible weakness, and then wonder if they're going to have to rush Husso to the NHL. Jordan Binnington goes from literal obscurity in August to eternal St. Louis sports legend the next June. What a story.

Of course, this is by no means a knock on Shannon; it's just that NOBODY going into 2018-19 thought Binnington was anything but a career AHL journeyman, including Doug Armstrong. The whole thing was kind of reminiscent of Kurt Warner's meteoric rise from afterthought Arena football/NFL Europe veteran third stringer to Super Bowl MVP for the St. Louis Rams exactly 20 years prior. (Obligatory middle finger to Stan Kroenke here.)

  7. Watching this video in 2020 and I'm just thinking to myself if only you knew lol
