Boston does not impress me. Depleted Panthers almost pulled it off.
Glad we got a point but that powerplay is actually league worst. And Lundell always looks like he’s got so much confidence in the preseason and plays with a lot but kind of dials it down in the regular season every time. He really does have what it takes he just has to prove it to himself he can do it.

i think it was bennett's ankle too, he got up pretty quick for a knee injury. still such an unfortunate play. hopefully he'll be back sooner than later
Until Panthers improve their special teams, it won't matter how many games they win, get to the playoffs, they will never win the Cup.
That 1st period was day and night compared to what we've seen 7 games in, and it was all Bennett being physical on the forecheck…going to need to match, either acquisition or trading, to replace that physicality that Bennett provides in order to restore the 2nd line zen. Praying it's an ankle sprain, but damn all the hype and his performance to get squashed from a stupid injury. Let's go Cats!

I remember the concussion protocol sometimes taking a really long time. I think it was last season when Raanta from the canes got hurt, spent half a period + intermission + a chunk the next period on protocol and came back after that. Then again sometimes it seems really fast. So wouldn't read too much into it. And I hope the Bennett is okay, he was reportedly walking around after the game.
And boston was bad in the first period, encouraging that panthers could capitalize.

😄HaHa, great story! great costume, great accent. Turns out a sad story for Johnny's hockey playing. Great for his bank acct. I didn't really know Tkachuk's injury. A BROKEN STERNUM! omg! Can you imagine? I've had a cracked rib and it hurt to breathe for a month, I couldn't take a real deep breath. How long will a broken sternum take to heal 100%? There's no doubt Matt is playing gingerly, not his rough and tumble style. When he gets hit a couple of times and the sternum doesn't hurt, perhaps then, we'll see the old pugnacious Tkachuck. IMO it might take until the playoffs.🤷♂🤞
People don't realize with Bennett at 2C then everyone can slot in where they were supposed to. The injuries have really piled up in last couple years. oh well
I stick around for the laughs. I'm a Panther fan for the punishment. The PP is still atrocious- 5 minutes and you can't score is a problem. McElbow better sit out 4 or 5 for head hunting last night.
