@Canucks de Vancouver

Merci!

Trade Myers, Beauvillier and a 2nd for Cale Makar

  2. carry-on_replacement

No injuries, no bad trades, Bear, and Myers to be sent down for that to happen.

  3. NUTIAG

a strong 3d and for someone to take on Myers without us giving away anything

  4. A time machine to go back to 2013 and the alternate timeline where Franny actually listens to Gillis and rebuilds.

We need to add another legit top 6 forward to push down PDG to the bottom 6 and a 2nd paring dman to play with Soucy since Hronek/Hughes have worked so well together.

    Stop giving up 5 v 3 penalties

We need our depth forwards to be producing more. Beau, Garland and Suter make almost 11m combined and have a combined 3 pts in 24 games. Myers has more goals than all 3 combined. Word of the day is combined.

    Maybe a scoring third line.

Another top 4 dman. My dream player was always Colton Parayko to pair with Hughes. While irl I don’t think it would work out how I would want but on paper it is still perfect. Big RH guy with a canon shot, basically has the tools that Quinn lacks on.

Some u25 bottom 6 guys who add speed and a little grit/energy. On D just one or two stable reliable skaters particularly on the right side.

The cap space to do anything this year has to come from moving Myers(6m) and Beauvilier(4m). If you have to retain fully on both of them it’s only 5m cap space but it’s better than we got now

We need a big 6’4 RHD that can play top 4 minutes…

    That’s pretty much it.

  12. KING_OF_DUSTERS

Clear out Beauv and Myers and and stronger 3rd dman

Trade Meyers ( I know he is playing ok right now) but still nowhere close to what his salary is

Truthfully, they don’t need anything desperately on the team at the moment. Hronek filled their one desperate need- whether he solved it or not will remain to be seen.

    1. Move out money so we aren’t always near the cap but don’t trade picks to sweeten expiring contracts.
    2. Another top 4 RHD. Friedman has been serviceable since bumping up but we’ve also seen he can’t maintain it. Myers ended up seeing time with Cole after a bit against the Rangers. Having 2 of our 3 RHD basically be a flip on who can play top 4 is not a key to success.
    3. More offense from our bottom 6 not named Hoglander. Hoglander has 4 points in 7 games the rest of our bottom 6 forwards (Stud, Lafferty, Beau, Garland, Joshua and Suter) has 6 points, 1 of which came from Garland playing with Petey.

Nothing is needed desperately. Every team needs things to fill the identified gaps. But we’re looking good.

  17. JerbearCuddles

2C, top 4 RHD, and cap space to make the first two happen.

A media and fanbase where every need isn’t desperate.
