Thank you all very much for staying up and watching this! For those of you who did not want to ruin their sleep schedule, Matt and I discussed a ton of fun topics, including Kaiden Guhle's excellence, Sean Monahan's dominance, what to do with Juraj Salfkosvky, and more. Again, thank you to everyone who took the time to watch live/afterward, much obliged!
I understand wanting to trade Monahan, For the people out there that wanna move him…… But please tell me what asset are you going to get that is better than Monahan??? He is the PERFECT 3C player that is AMAZING at faceoffs…. I’m sorry but if you trade Monahan for a first or a prospect there is no guarantee they will be as good as Monahan… we should be moving Dvorak and Pearson, Keep Monahan or at least sit down with Monahan and say “look you have a injury riddled past, We love you here and want to keep you. Will you sign for 3.5 million for 3 years” if he says no then we should trade him but if he wants to stay here for less than 4 million I say DO IT and get rid of Dvorak, Who cares if we don’t get another first round pick we have 2 in 2025 or we could use Calgarys 2025 pick this year… we should keep Monahan because if we trade him I Guarantee! Montreal will have a HARRDD time finding a veteran like him for less than 4 million.
I don’t agree with this “rushing a prospect” mentality… Joshua Roy has been developing for a while now he’s 20 years old has experienced playing with Bedard and excelled, He’s tearing the AHL up, Bottom line is if you’re a GOOD PLAYER you will figure it out! KK is a good player he wasn’t rushed Montreal wasn’t patient enough with him. KK was in the NHL since 18 Years Old and now he’s a point per game with Carolina this season… everyone thinks Slafkovsky should be in the AHL and that’s not Where he should be, He should be in the NHL and he’s a great player he will figure it out!! Alexis Lafrenière everyone was screaming “BUST” “GARBAGE PLAYER” etc HE IS FIGURING IT OUT! He’s having a good start to the season, Quinton Byfield is a great player he’s figuring it out and becoming better, KIRBY DACH is a great player he wasn’t rushed Chicago wasn’t patient enough with him…. My point obviously is IF YOU’RE A GOOD PLAYER at the end of the day YOU WILL FIGURE IT OUT and become a great player at the NHL level… Bring Joshua Roy up to the NHL, There has been MANY players that never played a game in the AHL and are AMAZING PLAYERS 😂😂😂… Joshua Roy is a great player and a very complete player he should be in the NHL he will figure it out 100%…
Long time listener, first time commenter! Just kidding. Just wondering though if there's no live chat playback for the video? Or am I just a tech dumb dumb.
