If you move Nylander send him to NY for Laf and Schneider. I still think Laf could fulfill his potential to be a 50- or 60-point guy and if he does, he will cost a lot less than keeping Nylander.

Marner and his 11M has always been the problem.
Im not panicking after 9 games…. BUT, there are some trends we've seen over and over and over from previous years coming back. I think the answer is trading Nylander unfortunately… His contract and performance would net a great return, and after this season they simply cant afford to pay him the 10+ a year he is going to demand (and rightfully so)
Marner is looking really poor. But then again, Marner is super streaky. Either he’s a top 5 playmaker or he’s playing shinny, and doing costly no-look passes. Doesn’t matter how good the highs get with him, it’ll never justify that price tag. We’re in year 7 or 8? Not sure. He’s in his prime though and still shows 0 indication he can lead a team, which if you’re going to demand that much of the cap hit, you better offer some intangibles. He has to go to truly change this teams identity and ideally, we’d get a true number 1 RD. Bite the bullet Treliving. We’re begging you man
It's time to trade Marner. Nylander has proven to be the better player, especially in the playoffs.

Domi Bertuzzi and Klingberg are playing alright I just wish they wouldn’t chase the game so much and do a duality mindset that Nylander’s been doing. And plus they’re not shooting a lot, combined they have 41 shots which is only one above Matthews currently. Really says a lot about how they’re still adjusting

Don,t know why Leaf fans would think things would be different this year.I have been a Leaf fan all my life & I am almost 80 yrs old.We make too much of these guys by putting them in the spotligt day in day out.We have set the stage for them win loose or draw it does not matter to them they are going to be paid the big bucks so frankly they don,t give a shit.No pride no grit no sense of ergency . We have gone through so many coaches some good some very good some bad but it does not matter when you have the majority of these guys with this nonchalant attitude.Not to pick on Sheldon Keefe but have you noticed that stoic look on his face on the bench.Show some emotion hold these high priced stars accountable or at least make it look like you do.Nothing is going to change again this year either you want it or you don,t.Absolutely disappointing for all fans of Leaf Nation.Go get it done instead of this half ass effort which gives us a little bit hope only to let us down time after time.Show some pride .
I readed a trade rumor that leafs send F Calle Järnkrok and special 3rd round pick in 2024 that can turn in to leafs 2nd in 2026 and 4th or 5 in 2024 and F Nick Abruzzese for D Robert Bortuzzo and F Brayden Schenn at 1.5M aav and blues will eat 500k of the contract if true or not we will see and yesterday the marlies had F Nick Abruzzese sit out of game Heathly scratch and in the trade rumor they said the deal is close to be done. Brayden Schenn is doing better than Calle Järnkrok and the leafs would get 600k in cap space and Brayden Schenn is Luke Schenn little Brother.
