That interpretation feels like confirmation bias/reading too much into a pretty innocuous quote.
Everyone was pining for a culture change after Larsen. This is just the new head coach acknowledging that’s actually part of his focus, without totally throwing Larsen and the recent teams under the bus.
The truth is that you SHOULDN’t expect much. The front office for this team is falling into shitshow territory.
Hiring Babcock was a giant fucking misstep because the organization cares about the fans appeasement, and name recognition too much.
Pascal would realistically have a better record rn if he had a full camp with his team. Instead, he got jerked around all summer just to land the job he should have had months earlier anyway.

you’re reading into it the wrong way. it’s a « expect more of us » post. he literally explicitly says « we’re going to get there ». it’s positive but firm. if he thinks we’re gonna get there, he means before the end of the year. guy is only on a two year contract.
