@Penguins de Pittsburgh

  1. How do you not mention Rust and Guentzel? If they look anything like they did during the season then the Habs are toast.

  2. Um??? Why are you guys only talking about sid and geno, rust and guentzel are also great players and underrated too! pens ob gonna win, but price will be the only guy that keeps the game close

  3. No one wants their team to lose – stop saying that.
And this is not a playoff series – stop saying that too – its a series to see WHO makes the playoffs – Habs still might not make the playoffs this year.

  4. I’d rather have a 1/8 chance at 1st than a 1/16 chance at the cup

  5. Habs don't have the guns to match the Pens, but if they can put together a game plan like the Islanders did to the Pens last playoffs, then they might have a chance to pull the upset. More importantly, Price will have to steal this series like Halak did to the Pens back in 2010.

In regard to Murray, after taking over for an injured Fleury in 2016 to win the Cup, Fleury bailed Murray out for the 1st 2 rounds in 2017. Since Fleury was exposed to VGK in the expansion draft, Murray has not been the same goalie in the playoffs('18/'19). I'm a Caps fan, but I can tell you if the Pens go with Murray over Jarry for these playoffs, then they are asking for trouble. After this season is over, if the Pens re-sign Murray then they are making a huge mistake. Jarry has clearly shown to be the far better goalie over Murray.

  6. We have to lose or else history will repeat! We won't get this chance again!

  7. These pro analysts don't even talk about how the Canadiens come out of the gate very strong usually, then fade because of their small size. They certainly can compete in the first 2 rounds, it's after that it starts to become iffy because they get worn out by the grind. The counter to my statement is that they need to mesh quickly to produce a competent high-flying offence and the short training camp might not be in their favor.

  8. Canadians will be lucky if they win one game their defense is too slow and not experienced enough it's the worst defense I ever seen for the Montreal Canadiens

  9. I’m gonna tell you right now I don’t want them to lose just for the first pick, I understand Lafreiniere is great but one player isn’t going to fix our issues, so I say go out there play our hardest and see what happens Go Habs Go! ultimately it’s only a 6.25% chance that we would get that first pick

  10. I'd rather the habs win the cup this year than get Lafreniere… But I'd rather get him if they only make it one or two rounds…

  11. Knowing my habs we will probably win against Pittsburgh just to get beat up round 2 and draft 16th…

  12. They made this video focusing mainly on the Habs rather than the Pens. That’s classic Sportsnet for you

  13. I've been looking over the rosters of both teams and I think the two gentlemen discussing the Pens/Habs series put too much emphasis on Crosby and Malkin! Crosby without a doubt has the talent to take over a series! But Malkin…..if Webber and the rest of the Canadiens D play up to their physical capabilities and pound Malkin, as in the past, he will buckle under that physical pressure! Malkin likes to hit, not be hit and it shows! Other that that, the Habs line up can match up as good as or even better in some areas than the Pens! I have had nothing else to do but watch NHL hockey during the pandemic, alot of Habs and Pens games! If Price gets hot and the D pound Crosby and Malkin, the Canadiens can score just as much as the Pens….. Habs in 6!
If you have a civil return comment…….Please Do!….If all you want to do is make snide remarks….Don't Bother! C697opine

  14. I can't believe hockey is actually starting. Seems surreal. Habs fan since 1986. Not much of a chance but still gonna be fun

  15. Price has an awful playoff record. Last time he played the Pens in the playoffs he got clobbered. Price's problems the last couple of years is that Price goes down to quickly and the goal scorers know this. He also gets rattled after being scored on, so goals come in bunches. I don't expect this to change. The Pens will neutralize Weber and I think will average 4 or more goals each game wining 3 straight
