Too think the Leafs had Bunting, Hyman and Kadri that were all BETTER then Bertuzzi, has any one been watching the stats that Bunting is making on Carolina's team and since Bertuzzi was playing for Boston last year, what did you expect, he was not going to disgrace, the team that he just left!!!
Kamph is their best defensive centre man and faceoff leader. If he loses the draw he stays out, if he wins it he changes right away to bring in Matthews. Why is this such a bad idea?

Bertuzzi has been hot garbage so far. Tripping and falling all over the place and the puck seems to die on his stick whenever he's on the ice and the Leafs are in the O zone. He's hurting himself more than anyone else, this is his show me year. No team is going to give him the money he wants this off season.

Yes! Please extend Billy "the dancer" Nylander to a lengthy $11m contract. Make it so Brad! Everybody in the Atlantic division would LOVE to see the Leafs tie up 60%+ of their cap space on their buttery soft wimpy core that chokes every single time they have to play in game 83+. Nylander is 54th in post season point production in his career btw. He's even worse in the playoffs than the overpaid choke artist centering the first line for the buttery soft Maple Laffs. Please sign William Nylander to a lengthy extension.

Leafs fans are the worst in the league. They don't deserve a player like Bert. He plays more than 17mins they win every time. Need a new scapegoat to blame after every other fail and blame. When you can't have success with the heart and versatility of a player like Bert who adapts to any line, then maybe you need to full rebuild since round 2 looks like the most this team will every achieve. But take the easy route, blame the new guy who was the best playoff player on the best season team of all time and someone who played his heart out every shift on a full rebuild wings team. Leafs fans just suck, who would ever want to play in that fan base. Calling for demotion to minors and trades and firing after small slump. I hope he gets off that dumpster fire team and gets back to somewhere that appreciates him.

Kampf has lost EVERY Overtime face-off he's taken this season. TOTAL waste of time in the overtime. Put Tavares or Matthews out there. Open with Tavares, Nylander and Reilly. Watch the success.
Also, Bertuzzi's grinning at his former teammate and buddy Marchand pretty much revealed that he has absolutely no passion for the Maple Leaf he wears. He should be benched. Let a keen Marlie who WANTS to be there come up and show him how it's done.
I was thinking of the whole thing with Bertuzzi doesn’t work out I think maybe a trade with the oilers for Connor Brown could be in order. I know things haven’t gone the way he or the oilers wanted and he’s got a 3 million dollar bonus kicking in soon I believe. Leafs had interest in bringing him back and they were the front runners next to Edmonton. I say bring him back and try and reignite some chemistry with him, Matthews, Marner, Nylander etc. He was great when he was here. Can’t hurt right? Get out of Bertuzzi’s 5.5 mil for a cheaper player and give both players a new start. What do y’all think?
