Wild to watch this team play so damn sluggish meanwhile Jost, who may not put up points like crazy but is a guarantee to work his ass off every second he’s on the ice, gets scratched.

Joke of a start. Cant come out that flat. Would be great to have the goalie make some big saves early tho. Makes a huge difference. You know when you’re playing like shit, and when the goalie isn’t bailing you out and they score 2 quick games already over mentally.
JJ is too quick to throw the puck away. Reminds me of Skinner where they are just forcing it all the time. Sometimes it works, sometimes it’s a tape to tape pass for a breakaway. For the Flyers.
They rarely do well against aggressive, hard working teams. It’s other skill teams they beat.

Good. They deserve to be embarrassed for the way the first 10 games of the season have gone. This is not the team of last year, not yet anyway. I hope they really take this loss to heart and start playing a little pissed off instead of a scared and slow.
Also, whoever on the Sabres payroll decided to have a black and red game be against the Flyers again? They shouldn’t be in charge of the jersey schedule anymore.

I think it’s safe to say (and okay to admit?) that the Flyers are just a horrible matchup. Thankfully they only see them one or two more times this season and they were able to steal a game on Wednesday.
They actually played well after the first and threatened to make it interesting but they dug too deep of a hole with an awful first and the Flyers buried the two chances they had after the first.
One game, regroup tomorrow against a team they matchup way better against.
