Charlie McAvoy suspendu, Matthew Poitras restant, Atlantic Power Rankings !

McAvoy hit surprised me . He is physical and everything but I haven't seen him go THAT hard at someone . I wonder if there was some back play/behind the scenes B.S between them . Myaby he speared him or egged him on or WHATEVER ? * crisp high five * from Boston either way bud . I'm wicked sorry about your family loss . Hope all is well (as good as it can be)

  2. Surprised that Lohrei was called up, and whether he’ll see time … he had a good camp but what I’ve heard/read he’s been less than impressive in Providence thus far

  3. Congratulations to matt. The first day of the rest of his life

    Charlie? No comment

George parros is going to make sure he is not a Norris trophy contender

All those poor little panthers, what victims they've been?

Funny how they were so generous last spring dishing all this abuse out, chokeholds, clobbering our goalie on the head and then going after him using the ref as a human shield?

and now they can't take it?

    Poor babies.

You're okay Charlie -Monty should have let you do your job last spring.

just have to accept the fact that George Parros owns you now.

Okay Looooch! Ya got a mess to clean up. Just take care of things without getting suspended please.
    😁

    🐻🏆

  4. Perhaps during a down time, it would be interesting to audit the funds that go into player safety

    How much money collected

My financial journals state the fines end up in the NHL foundation "discretionary" fund. They are "forfeited" by franchises? They don't go to players nor safety.

Those are technically revenues that have to be shared with the franchises? 🤔

Is that what you have in your NHL info?

Also interesting reading player safety reports verbatim. To learn specifically what they're looking for. How many times did the term "appearance" shows up

Not just bruins. Tom Wilson 😆

Rangers got fined quarter million dollars for questioning George Parros.

We can trash a triple gold coach, destroy his career, go after Sweeney for trying to give a kid a second chance, nail Pinto on gambing, many think look the other way on Evander Kane?

yet nobody can question the judgment of George Parros.. "the most feared man in the NHL" as a player

He said he's a good choice for the job – was never suspended nor fined & "knew where the line was"
He was done in 2010, barely played after he self concussed.

The 'line' was fuzzy when he was playing. They could cross check, board players, throw hits to the head- as they cannot now.

I don't think there were many other players near 6 ft 5 inches aside from Chara either. So he was rarely picking on anyone close to his own size

I'd like an average sized hockey player – perhaps not one that played the past decade before they start the job.

Perhaps someone who has not played in the nhl.

Cuz they're going to have biases whether they like it or not.

    He's very inconsistent.
I dont see the advantage of having an enforcer with 1,100+ penalty minutes in 474 games and 177 fights in the position of player safety.

    18 goals + 18 assists?
    -11 +/- rating

What did he contribute to hockey or the locker room?
I can respect him as a hockey player yet,
That resume doesn't seem to fit 🤔

I'm doubting Patrice bergeron would be willing to take the job.

    I'd hire three nuns!
They'd probably be more lenient than George.

  5. I’m sorry to hear about your wife’s Opa Ian! I hope you and your family are doing well.
