I'm a caps fan, was petrified of playing the sharks cause we'd been awful. We managed to win. I'm sure penguins will beat them. They'll end up beating Vegas because it makes no sense.

I think it's a bit early in the season to say we are the worst team of the century. There's still so many games left. You wouldn't say Vegas is the best team this century because it's way too early. Somehow I've managed to watch every game of ours so far. It's real rough but I was expecting us to be bad. All I'm hoping for is for our young guys to play well and we get the number 1 overall pick.
Really surprised they didn’t mention the 19-20 Red Wings. Only 17 wins in 71 games and 39 points. The 2nd worst team was Ottawa who had 62 points.
Leafs play the Sharks back to back in January. You, me and everybody knows the Leafs are losing at LEAST one of them

I think the 1974-75 Washington Capitals will still be considered worst (8-67-5 -21 Points). Despite the Sharks 0-9-1 recored they have been close in most of those game.

We weren't this bad though. The start was horrendous but there were positives throughout. This is on another level.
Now only if something like this could happen to a team like BOS. That would please me to no end. Doesn't seem like they're capable of significant setbacks though. I don't get it…
I'm with Steve. This is professional entertainment. The sport only exists for entertainment. There's an obligation for ownership and management to put an entertaining product on the ice because otherwise fans aren't going to pay to see it. Its always easier to fire a coach than to make a trade, but even when tanking, you have to have some type of accountability and make some type of change when its this bad.
