I really don't appreciate the pivot that's being taken here. Demanding net guards and the like implies that this happened because there isn't enough protection. That is false. This happen because there's no accountability for violence on the ice.

Anyone who played can see he already missed 1st player coming in zone he put his foot out to try to knock player coming from behind cause at the angle is at the player would go around him and have open ice to the net and when he lifted his leg he lost a edge and leg went up is it a dirty play yes but i do not think intent to kill was there should he be charged up to the police and prosecutors No Mather what it is a Tragedy and my prays to his family and friends
There wouldn't be a need for neck gaurds if renegade players would abide by the rules.

This was intentional without any doubt whatsoever! If Adam was a cop the police force would be plotting revenge as we speak!
He never collided with the other player. His body never shifts like it would if they had collided. Watch their skates. They never touch. He used the other player to steady himself for the kick. Thats not a collision.
He didn't mean to kill him, but he absolutely tried to hurt him.
