So this was the effort they gave after Keefe called them out? If I'm Treliving I'd be making some big changes asap within the core, the rest of this team is replaceable. Build a team with players that work and show up, the core is made up of guys that care about individual stats, they're not a team..plus Keefe is done, they've tuned him out a few years ago.
Klingenberg looks like a confused giraffe on skates! I’m hoping he finds his game soon. Max Domi has been underwhelming. My biggest complaint is this team STILL regularly gets outworked.

The damage that Mike Babcock was able to do to these young players may be irreversible. Things like our PP will be our response when they were still just kids has been one comment that really seemed like I sink in. Maybe Keefe shouldn’t be the couch anymore. Matthews should be the captain. Tavares wears the C but he’s never been the leader here.
I like this team. I see them finishing in first place overall in the ECHL.
Noah Gregor has impressed the hell outta me this season! Kids got speed, tenacity, hes physical. He should move up the lineup. Give him a chance to see what he can really do.
honestly, i don't think this Leafs team are very different from last seasons, so are my expectation too.

I knew Leafs would quickly regret the Domi, Klingberg, and Reaves signings, big mistakes. Have to admit I'm surprised at how lawsy Bertuzzi has been, and not sure if he will get better. For a guy on a "show me" type contract, you'd never know it. He looks totally disengaged. No offense, no backcheck, and must've cleared his nose, because there's no "snot" either.
and maybe the core 4 are a clique and the other guys don't feel inspired by them to give their best. you look at the first year in Vegas. no superstars but incredible top to bottom team chemistry. teams win cups, individuals don't. look at the team winning culture in Boston and Tampa as well

They have the exact same record through 11 games as they did last year. Not saying there isn’t cause for concern but they’ll be fine in terms of the standings.
Nylander may well end up being the sacraficial lamb before this year is done. Accountability on this team is using their phones to work out the tip at the restaurant.
Lafferty can't believe his luck. He looks like the kind of player the Leafs need right now.
